Frequently asked questions

What is Harman Smith Books?

It is the independent imprint for novels by Harman Smith. The main line is Battle Fantasy: finished stories with complete arcs, sold on Amazon Kindle. There is no traditional publisher. Details about the author are on the about page.

Which book should I read first?

Start with American Evil unless you specifically want dragon-war, a short book, or a story that is not fantasy. The reading guide compares those paths. You do not have to read the catalog in one order.

Are the novels a series?

Most titles are standalones inside a wider chronicle called the Golden Age. The exception is Order of the Dragon: read The Eye of the Dragon before Jaw of the Dragon. A standalone still ends. A sequel exists only when there is a second book.

Where do I buy them?

Every published title is on Amazon Kindle. Each catalog page has the current price, length, and a buy link. This site does not sell files directly.

Are these books for children?

No. They are adult fiction. They include violence and dark subject matter. They are not classroom readers and they are not written for kids.

How do I hear about new books?

Join the email list on the homepage, or follow the blog. Patreon subscribers can vote on which unpublished project is written next.
